Immerse yourself in true deep sleep
We understand the profound impact that sleep deprivation and sleep struggles can have on daily life. We started Moozi with a mission to provide tailored sleep solutions that address these all-too-common issues.
We couldn’t find the solution in a technology driven market, as such we have curated a natural sleep ritual that works in perfect harmony with you and your unique rhythms. Sleep is a sensory experience and so we made it exactly that. Here's our revolutionary 3 step ritual to guide you off to sleep:
Step one: Scent. Our sleep sprays have been constructed to help create a relaxing and calming environment.
Step 2: Sound - Unique, studio - recorded sounds to guide you gently into a deep, restorative sleep.
Step 3: Touch - The Moozi weighted blanket is like a big warm hug, the final step to the best night's sleep of your life.
We haven’t just ‘hacked’ sleep, we’ve created an experience that transports you back to the restorative peace of the great outdoors.
Exactly as nature intended.
Step 1, scent
Sleep is a sensory experience and we forget the importance of good sleep hygiene. In todays fast-paced world, we are often left with little time to immerse ourselves into a healthy sleep routine. Sleep spray is the first step to signal to your brain that it is time for sleep. Moozi Pillow spray has been constructed to evoke a feeling of peace, calm and tranquillity. Our sleep sprays have strayed away from the traditional scent of lavender & chamomile. As lovely as they are for some - we found it undesirable and it infact it hindered our sleep. As a result, we spent one whole year curating our sleep sprays by working with expert perfumers to ensure a unique, conscious choice of beautiful notes that connect back to mother nature.
Step 2, sound
The second step in our sleep hygiene routine is guided sleep meditation. Inspired by nature, we have created five incredible sleep-scapes, each one uniquely created by professional sound technicians to help your body relax and unwind. Do you prefer the gentle sound of wind or the relaxing sound of the rain falling upon the leaves in the woodland? Or treat yourself to the sound of the soft crashing of waves against the rocks, an open, crackling fire or the white noise of space. We have a guided sleep hypnosis for you. Hypnosis for sleep will assist to quieten your consciousness and make way for true, deep, restorative sleep. Something that the modern, technological world makes harder and harder for us to achieve.
Step 3, touch
Here is our final step to deep and restorative sleep. Touch. By mimicking Deep Pressure Therapy the Moozi weighted blanket will apply compacted, controlled pressure to your whole body, acting as a reset button for your nervous system. When we experience this kind of pressure our brain releases chemicals such as serotonin and dopamine. Combine this with sleep spray and sleep hypnosis to immerse yourself into a sensory sleep experience.

Weighted blankets are scientifically proven to:
Help aid symptoms of anxiety 🥰
The pressure from a weighted blanket can help activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which can lower your heart rate and help calm you down.
Help put your nervous system into 'rest mode' 💗
Weighted blankets help put your nervous system into rest mode by applying gentle pressure that calms your heart rate and breathing, reducing anxiety symptoms and stimulating the production of serotonin and melatonin.
Help individuals with ASD & ADHD by mimicking Deep Pressure Therapy 💞
Weighted blankets are a tool that Occupational Therapists often recommend for individuals with adhd and autism spectrum disorders to help with calming. The weight is intended to provide proprioceptive input to the brain, which has a calming and organising effect on the central nervous system.
Increase Melatonin & Serotonin 🧠
A study carried out by researchers at Uppsala University is suggestive that deep pressure stimulation with weighted blankets produces a decrease in sympathetic neuron stimulation, which means that the user would be experiencing less arousals or awakenings when trying to initiate or maintain sleep. This could be a promoting factor producing the change in melatonin levels noticed when using a weighted blanket.

Does sleep hypnosis work?
In today’s fast-paced world, many people struggle with getting a restful night’s sleep. If you’ve tried counting sheep or tossing and turning in frustration, you may have come across the concept of sleep hypnosis as a potential solution. But does sleep hypnosis really work? Can it help you fall asleep faster, improve sleep quality, and reduce insomnia? In this blog, we’ll explore the science behind sleep hypnosis, its effectiveness, and how it may offer a natural remedy for those seeking better sleep.
What is Sleep Hypnosis?
Sleep hypnosis is a therapeutic technique where a person is guided into a deeply relaxed state using verbal cues, soothing sounds, or guided imagery. The goal is to calm the mind, release tension, and ease anxiety, making it easier to fall asleep. Often, sleep hypnosis is used as part of hypnotherapy to address various sleep disorders, such as insomnia, nightmares, or sleep anxiety. The process involves deep relaxation, similar to meditation, but with a specific focus on guiding the subconscious mind towards better sleep.
How Does Sleep Hypnosis Work?
The concept behind sleep hypnosis lies in the power of suggestion and the connection between the mind and body. During hypnosis, a trained practitioner or an audio recording will use calming language to help you enter a trance-like state, which is similar to the relaxed state just before falling asleep. Once in this relaxed state, the subconscious mind becomes more receptive to positive suggestions, like “you will sleep deeply” or “your body is relaxed and ready for rest.”
This helps to break negative thought patterns or anxiety that may be preventing you from falling asleep. Hypnosis can also be used to address specific issues such as stress, chronic pain, or racing thoughts that contribute to sleeplessness.
The Science Behind Sleep Hypnosis
Numerous studies have explored the effectiveness of hypnosis for sleep. Research has shown that hypnosis can improve sleep quality by reducing the time it takes to fall asleep, increasing sleep duration, and reducing nighttime awakenings. One study published in the journal Sleep Medicine Reviews found that people who underwent hypnosis experienced significant improvements in sleep quality compared to those who did not.
Sleep hypnosis is believed to work by helping to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for the “rest and digest” response. This counters the fight-or-flight system that is often activated by stress and anxiety, making it easier for the body to transition into a state of deep relaxation.
Benefits of Sleep Hypnosis
- Reduces Insomnia: Studies show that hypnosis can help individuals with insomnia reduce both the onset of sleep and the number of awakenings during the night.
- Relieves Anxiety and Stress: Sleep hypnosis addresses the root causes of sleep problems, including anxiety, stress, and emotional triggers, allowing for a more peaceful sleep experience.
- Improves Sleep Quality: Regular use of sleep hypnosis has been linked to better sleep quality, with deeper and more restful sleep cycles.
- Non-Invasive and Natural: Unlike sleep medications, which can have side effects or lead to dependency, sleep hypnosis is a natural, drug-free approach that helps the body’s intrinsic sleep mechanisms.
Does Sleep Hypnosis Work for Everyone?
While sleep hypnosis has shown positive results for many, it doesn’t work the same way for everyone. The effectiveness of hypnosis can depend on individual susceptibility to hypnosis, personal preferences, and the underlying causes of sleep issues. Some people may require multiple sessions to see results, while others may experience immediate benefits after just one session.
Final Thoughts
If you’re struggling with sleep issues and are looking for a natural, holistic solution, sleep hypnosis is absolutely worth trying. It’s a proven method to help reduce anxiety, improve relaxation, and ultimately promote a better night’s sleep. While it may not be a one-size-fits-all solution, many people find it to be a helpful tool in your overall sleep routine.

Is there a link between sleep & Alzheimer's?
"Recent research has proved that sleep deprivation and insomnia have been related to the pathophysiology of Alzheimer's disease and would influence the symptoms and progression of the disease."
